I’ve prayed in Cambodian temples, explored the Great Barrier Reef and exhaustively crisscrossed the American States. I’ve dined in the homes of Africans and Asians and explored the fjords in New Zealand, Alaska and Norway. I’ve stood at the foot of the Statue of Liberty and at the top of the Eiffel Tower. I’ve skied Austria’s Alps, ridden trains across Tuscany and slept on beaches from Puerto Rico to Koh Pangan. I’ve read Hemingway where he wrote from Key West to the Serengeti, Paris to Kansas City, Idaho to Kilimanjaro. I’ve visited dozens of countries and met people who influenced me everywhere I’ve been. I have been able to do these things because of the kindness and generosity of those around me, a deep faith in God, and the understanding that my time here is short.

Good luck in your journey.
